MoFA and IIDS host dialogue on economic diplomacy

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS), organized an interaction program today focused on “Country Strategy Formulation and Implementation for the Promotion of Economic Diplomacy.”

Addressing the event at the Ministry, Honorable Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal underscored the urgent need for priority-based, country-specific plans and programs to effectively advance the nation’s economic diplomacy objectives.

Echoing this sentiment, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai stressed the vital importance of adopting a strategic, results-oriented approach to maximize international economic engagements.

During the session, experts Biswash Gauchan and Akhilesh Upadhyay delivered comprehensive presentations highlighting various facets of economic diplomacy and the practical execution of these tailored country strategies.
