KAVREPALANCHOCK: Heavy rainfall has triggered flooding in the Roshi River, forcing authorities to fully close the BP Highway in the Kavre section.

Police said continuous downpours across areas including Banepa, Panauti, Dhulikhel, Namobuddha, and Roshi caused the river to swell rapidly, raising safety risks for commuters.

A landslide near Charsayabeshi has also blocked the highway, compounding travel disruption. Authorities have halted all vehicle movement until water levels recede and debris is cleared, urging travelers to use alternative routes.
