JANAKPURDHAM: The Central Election Commission of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on Tuesday suspended all activities related to its Madhesh Province Convention until further notice.

Exercising authority under the party’s statute, the commission halted representative selection, nominations, campaigning, and meetings to ensure the convention is conducted in a fair, transparent, and lawful manner.

The party has instructed all leaders and members to pause convention activities immediately, adding that a revised schedule will be announced later.
