KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba left for Thailand today to attend the 81st session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), scheduled to take place in Bangkok from April 21 to April 25.
According to Dr. Rana’s Secretariat, she will preside over the 81st session of the Commission. The theme of this session is “Regional cooperation for resilient and sustainable urban development in Asia and the Pacific.”
Dr. Rana is leading a delegation from Nepal that includes senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Planning Commission, and the Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok.
She is scheduled to return home on April 25th.
