KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel held consultations with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba regarding the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 budget.

On Monday morning, Finance Minister Paudel visited Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha to discuss matters related to the budget.

On the occasion, President Deuba advised the Finance Minister to adopt austerity measures considering the current state of the national economy and to prepare the budget in a way that ensures optimal utilization of available resources, according to the Finance Minister’s Secretariat.
