KATHMANDU: The meetings of both houses of the Federal Parliament–the House of Representatives and the National Assembly — are taking place today.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the House of Representatives will convene at 11:00 a.m., while the National Assembly will meet at 12:15 p.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Both sessions will continue deliberations on the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS.

Discussions on the policy document, presented by President Ram Chandra Paudel during a joint session of parliament last Friday, began on Monday.
