KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed serious concerns over the country’s current financial situation, stating that the state treasury is empty.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Cinepa Film Shooting Studio at Baluwatar on Tuesday, he reflected on how, during his previous tenure, the treasury was filled with ample funds, enabling him to launch ambitious development projects without hesitation.
Oli lamented that the projects he initiated during his three-year leadership have remained stalled exactly where he left them.
According to him, the lack of financial resources has made it difficult to envision or announce new projects with the same confidence he once had.
Despite these challenges, the Prime Minister remains optimistic, pledging that the economy will not decline further.
He assured that efforts would be made to stabilize and revitalize it, signaling his commitment to restore economic momentum despite the current setbacks.
