KATHMANDU: Ram Ayodhya Yadav, a member of Nepal’s second Constituent Assembly, has passed away at the age of 72.
He had been suffering from kidney-related complications for a long time. According to his son, Dr. Jitendra Yadav, he died on Wednesday morning at Healthcare Hospital in Birgunj.
Yadav was a resident of Kabahigoth village in Suwarna Rural Municipality-2, Bara. He was elected to the second Constituent Assembly in 2013 from Bara-1 representing the Nepali Congress.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
