KATHMANDU: Nepal will host Bangladesh in two international friendly matches on September 6 and 9 at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.

Both matches are scheduled during the FIFA International Window. These friendlies are seen as vital preparation for Nepal ahead of their remaining fixtures in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.

Nepal is placed in Group F alongside Malaysia, Laos, and Vietnam. The team has played two group-stage matches so far but remains without a point, having suffered defeats in both games.

As part of the ongoing qualifiers, Nepal is set to face Vietnam in an away match on October 9.
