DANG: Four people have died in separate incidents in Dang. Two teenagers from Tulsipur have drowned while swimming in the Babai River.

They drowned while swimming in the river near Purandhara Chhahara in Babai Rural Municipality-4. They have been identified as Bidhan KC, 17, a resident of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-2, and Kushal Budhamagar, 16, a resident of the same place.

They went swimming with friends and drowned in the river, said Dev KC, Chief of the Hapure Area Police Office. The bodies have been kept at the Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur for an autopsy.

Similarly, two teenagers have died in a motorcycle accident. Rohit BK, 18, and Nishan BK, 16, of Gadhawa Rural Municipality-8 died in an accident on the Sisnekhola bridge on the Rampur-Ghorahi road. Both died during treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi on Monday evening, informed District Police Office Spokesperson Chakra Bahadur Shah.

The motorcycle (Ra7Pa 3270) coming from Rampur towards Ghorahi lost control and crashed at Sisnekhola, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-4 at 7:00 pm. The bodies of both the victims have been kept at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, according to the police.
