BIRATNAGAR: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair and former PM Madhav Kumar Nepal has accused CPN-UML Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of plunging the country into crisis due to his arrogance, ego, and misguided policies.
Speaking at Biratnagar Airport, Nepal said the government has failed on all fronts and that the nation cannot be free from suffering unless Oli is removed.
He added that the current coalition will remain unchanged as long as Oli and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba are aligned.
He also claimed Oli is turning UML into a spectacle and damaging the communist movement.
Nepal dismissed the corruption charges against him as politically motivated, stating the decision in question was a unanimous Cabinet decision and caused no financial loss to the state.
Nepal clarified there are no talks of party unification with the Maoist Centre, only discussions to strengthen cooperation and continue the Socialist Front.
