KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices witnessed a moderate rise in the domestic market on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association.
The price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 100 per tola, reaching Rs 196,600 today. On Sunday, hallmark gold was being traded at Rs 196,500 per tola.
Likewise, silver prices also recorded a slight uptick. The price rose by Rs 5 per tola, setting the new rate at Rs 2,255.
Silver was traded at Rs 2,250 per tola on Sunday. The Federation updates daily prices based on fluctuations in the international market and domestic demand.
