KATHMANDU: Chairpersons of Nepal Tarun Dal, Rastriya Yuwa Sangh Nepal, YCL Nepal, Yuwa Sangh Nepal, and Akhil Nepal Yuwa Sangh Nepal have jointly appealed for the current political crisis to be resolved strictly within the constitution.

In a statement released on Thursday, they urged all young people to remain calm and vigilant during the ongoing political uncertainty.

The leaders emphasized the need to protect Nepal’s democratic republic, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

“We are clear that the future political path must safeguard the achievements of past movements and progressive reforms,” the statement read.

“With Gen-Z youth also advocating for the defense of the current constitution, we stress that the political resolution must adhere to democratic principles,” they added.

The youth wings further demanded that the fundamental values of the democratic republic, won through years of struggle, must not be undermined and that measures should be ensured to protect them.
