SUNSARI: Two people were killed and 22 others injured when a passenger bus rammed into a stationary truck at Pulchowk in Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-3 on Thursday.

The bus (Pra 1–02–002 Kha 0949), traveling eastward along the East-West Highway, crashed into a truck (Na 6 Kha 3733) that had broken down and was parked on the roadside.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Yograj Khatri, the two deceased have not yet been identified.

One person died while undergoing treatment at Inaruwa District Hospital, while another succumbed at Global Cardio & Neuro Hospital in Bhokraha.

All 22 injured passengers are receiving treatment at Global Cardio & Neuro Hospital in Bhokraha Narsingh-4.
