KATHMANDU: police raided the residence of Bhushan Rana, brother of former Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana, in Lalitpur. Authorities discovered that Rana had left the country over a month ago.

The operation, conducted by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) in coordination with Lalitpur police, targeted the property, which is reportedly linked to major contracts and financial dealings. Officials have not disclosed details of any items seized during the raid.

Dr. Manoj KC, chief of the CIB, confirmed the operation, stating that it was part of routine investigations into specific financial matters.
