KATHMANDU: Miraj Dhungana, who rose to prominence after the Gen Z movement, has announced the formation of a new political party at a press conference held at the Everest Hotel in New Baneshwor.
The event was attended by Dhungana and several members of his group. Although he announced the establishment of the party, Dhungana clarified that it will not participate in the upcoming elections.
He said the group’s core principle is the pursuit of a directly elected executive system, and therefore, they have decided not to take part in the elections at this stage.
Dhungana stated that the new party aims to unite Gen Z activists and move forward in an organized and collective manner to achieve their political objectives.
