CHITWAN Local authorities have urged people to avoid traveling on the Narayangadh-Muglin-Malekhu road section unless absolutely necessary, as the risk of landslides has increased amid continuous rainfall.
The District Administration Office of Chitwan issued a notice requesting residents to refrain from using the Narayangadh-Muglin section and the Muglin-Malekhu stretch of the Prithvi Highway for non-essential travel.
Since Thursday, small landslides have been occurring continuously on these roads due to heavy rain, prompting the local administration to advise that only essential travel should be undertaken.
