LALITPUR: The Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) officially inaugurated the Tigg NAS-IT Expo 2025 today, November 7, 2025, at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, Lalitpur.
The two-day event, Nepal’s largest technology and innovation exhibition, is held under the theme “Connecting Businesses with Technology and Shaping Nepal’s AI Future” and features more than 35 leading tech companies.
The Expo brings together industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators from Nepal and abroad.
The opening ceremony was led by NAS-IT President Gaurav Pandey, who emphasized collaboration within Nepal’s IT industry.
He remarked, “This Expo is more than an exhibition; it’s a platform for dialogue, partnerships, and progress. Our goal is to position Nepal as a trusted global hub for digital talent, technology solutions, and innovation.”
Prarthana Saakha, co-founder of Tigg, the title sponsor of the Expo, highlighted the importance of supporting Nepal’s emerging tech ecosystem, stating, “When one company grows, the entire tech community grows. Together we can show the world that Nepal is not just a user of technology, but a creator of it.”
The Expo featured several sessions with distinguished speakers. Jagdish Khadka, CEO of eSewa Pvt. Ltd., delivered the keynote session on “Digital Nepal – Building a Cashless Future Through Partnership,” discussing the advancement of digital payments in Nepal. Pritesh Upadhya, CEO of Coding Mountain USA, led an insight session titled “Winning Clients Globally: Sales Strategy and Pitching for Success,” offering practical advice for Nepali IT firms aiming to expand internationally.
Navdeep Alam, CTO of Abacus Insights Inc., presented a special talk on “Bridging Continents: Why American Firms are Building Teams in Nepal,” highlighting the growing confidence of U.S. companies in Nepali tech talent.
Similarly, Kubota Mitsuhiro, CEO of The iYell Co. Ltd., addressed opportunities for Nepali IT companies in Japan during a special session titled “Bridging Borders: Opportunities for Nepali IT Companies in Japan.”
NAS-IT Vice President Deepen Chapagain closed the ceremony by emphasizing unity within Nepal’s tech ecosystem, stating that the Expo celebrates collaboration between innovators, investors, and institutions and helps shape a future where technology drives opportunity, growth, and impact.
The Tigg NAS-IT Expo 2025 continues on November 7–8, 2025, featuring tech showcases, investor networking, product launches, and AI-driven solutions. The event aims to connect local innovation with global opportunities and strengthen Nepal’s position in the international digital economy.
NAS-IT is a not-for-profit industry body representing Nepal’s IT sector. It promotes innovation, fosters collaboration, and works to position Nepal as a competitive and trusted global technology hub.
