KATHMANDU: The fluctuation in gold and silver prices in the international market has also affected the local market. Compared to Thursday, the prices of both metals have decreased today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has dropped by Rs. 1,300 per tola today compared to Thursday, while silver has decreased by Rs. 85 per tola. The price of one tola of gold has been fixed at Rs. 241,700 today. Similarly, the price of silver is set at Rs. 3,100 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is being traded at 4,062 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
