KATHMANDU: The Miraj Dhungana-led group (Garikhan Deu Abhiyan) protested outside the Singha Durbar gate on Tuesday, clashing briefly with police after Prime Minister Sushila Karki reportedly failed to grant them time.

The group’s eight-point joint demand letter calls for arresting former PM KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak for the September 8 and 9 incidents.

They also demanded the cancellation of the declared election, the formation of an all-party government for constitutional amendment, and the confiscation of leaders’ movable and immovable property.
