KATHMANDU: A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in the federal capital. Two others, including a traffic police, were injured in the accident occurred at Kesharmahal Road, Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon.
Spokesperson at the Valley Traffic Police Office, SP Naresh Raj Subedi, informed that an EV car (Ba Pra 01-030 Cha 2348) hit the pedestrian and an on-duty traffic police.
The identity of a male pedestrian losing life in the accident has not been ascertained yet. Seriously injured in the incident, he breathed his last while receiving treatment at Trauma Centre, Kathmandu.
Head constable of traffic police from Police Range, Durbarmagar, Parshuram Thakur, and car driver Suresh Raj Kalika were injured in the incident. The car hit two persons before ramming the wall, the police added.
