KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Gorkhas posted 165 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs after being sent in to bat first by the Pokhara Avengers in today’s Nepal Premier League (NPL) match at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Opener Ben Charlesworth scored 64 off 55 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes.
Bhim Sharki delivered an explosive knock of 55 off just 23 balls, smashing five fours and four sixes.
For Pokhara Avengers, Kushal Bhurtel and Dhananjaya Lakshan claimed two wickets each, slowing Kathmandu’s scoring rate during the middle overs, where they looked slightly shaky.
