NEPSE falls by 13.88 points, turnover reaches Rs 3.51 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 13.88 points to close at 2,581.21 on Tuesday.

According to NEPSE, a total of 9,167,359 shares of 332 companies were traded in 65,312 transactions, generating a total turnover of NPR 3.51 billion.

During the day’s trading, all sector indices declined except the trading group. Shares of Synergy Finance (SY Panel Nepal Limited) hit the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited recorded the highest loss, with its share price falling by 6.84 percent.

Based on transaction value, Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited led the market with shares worth NPR 103.08 million traded. In terms of the number of shares traded, Garima Samriddhi Yojana recorded the highest volume, with 1,277,180 units changing hands.
