KATHMANDU: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has stated that Nepali citizens were injured by drone debris. Abu Dhabi officials reported that the incident occurred in the ICAD 2 industrial area. It is mentioned that 6 individuals, consisting of Nepali and Pakistani citizens, were injured in the event.

The exact number of Nepali citizens among the injured has not been disclosed. It is reported that the injured are in conditions ranging from minor to serious. Previously, Diwas Shrestha from Gorkha died during a process to neutralize a drone.

War began in the Gulf region after the United States and Israel attacked Iran on February 28. Iran has been regularly carrying out missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries where United States military camps are located.
