KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has closed down online betting app and website relating to it.

After the Ministry’s direction to close down the app and related website within 24 hours, Nepal Telecommunications Authority closed the harmful app with the coordination of internet service providers.

The meeting of Minister for Communications Dr Bikram Timilsina, secretary and division chiefs had directed the NTA for it.
