KATHMANDU: Nepal is set to kick off its campaign in the SAFF Women’s Championship today with an opening match against Bhutan. The Group ‘A’ clash will take place at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa, India, starting at 4:45 PM Nepali time.

Both teams are aiming for a victorious start to the regional tournament. Nepal enters the competition with a strong legacy, having finished as the tournament’s runners-up six times in past editions.
