KATHMANDU: Both houses of the Federal Parliament are meeting today, with the House of Representatives convening at 11:00 AM and the National Assembly at 1:15 PM.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2026/27 in both sessions.

The House of Representatives will also table the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage (Protection) Bill, 2024’ and consider the ‘Motion Picture Bill, 2026’.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly will discuss the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2026’.

Additionally, the parliamentary Agriculture, Cooperatives, and Natural Resources Committee is meeting this morning with officials from the Agriculture Inputs Company and Salt Trading Corporation to address the smooth supply, current stock, and distribution of chemical fertilizers for farmers.
