KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices increased in the domestic market today, with both precious metals recording notable gains compared to last Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has increased by Rs 4,700 per tola to Rs 283,800 per tola. Likewise, silver prices have risen by Rs 145 per tola, reaching Rs 4,325 per tola.

On Friday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 279,100 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 4,180 per tola.
