KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) will resume services under the national health insurance program from Monday (June 29), more than five months after suspending them over unpaid reimbursements.
Hospital Executive Director Dr Subhash Prasad Acharya said the service will initially resume through the outpatient department (OPD) before gradually expanding to other units. Insurance tickets will be issued from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
TUTH had suspended the program on January 15 after the Health Insurance Board failed to clear outstanding payments. The hospital decided to restart the service after recently receiving the pending reimbursements.
