KATHMANDU: During a press conference on Friday, Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that the country remains firmly committed to the “One-China Policy.”

The statement comes after questions were raised in parliament regarding whether the government had violated this policy by allowing the celebration of the Dalai Lama’s birthday in Nepal.

Ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri addressed these concerns, emphasizing that Nepal adheres strictly to its established policy of not allowing its territory to be used for any activities against the interests of its neighboring and friendly nations.
