KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City and local administration have signed a nine-point agreement with the family of 25-year-old Ganesh Nepali, who died on July 10 following a self-immolation attempt outside the Department of Passport.
Under the Sunday agreement, the metropolis will secure a job for Nepali’s widow based on her qualifications and cover all education expenses for his daughter up to higher education.
KMC will also manage and fund the funeral logistics.
In return, the family has agreed to claim the body and cooperate with the remaining legal and post-mortem procedures.
