DHORPATAN: The Kaligandaki Corridor, which was blocked due to a landslide triggered by continuous rain, has reopened after eight hours.

The road was blocked this morning due to a landslide in Belbagar of Jaimini Municipality-8 under the Baglung section of the corridor.

Rameshwor Twati, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, informed that the road was reopened after about eight hours using landslide debris removal equipment since morning. He said that it took time to reopen the road due to continuous rain.

As soon as the road was opened, stranded vehicles and passengers headed towards their respective destinations, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Twati.
