BAJURA: Nine people, including the driver, were injured on Monday when a passenger jeep traveling from Dhulachaur to Dudhila Khola plunged off the road along the Kuwadi-Kyudi section in Himali Rural Municipality-5.

According to Naresh Bahadur Shahi, the Information Officer at the District Police Office Bajura, the jeep (registration number Su.Pa.Pra. 01-001 Ja 1878) veered off the road and fell approximately 10 meters down from an upper bend.

The injured passengers, all residents of Himali Rural Municipality-2, sustained various injuries to their heads, backs, and limbs.

Ambulances were immediately arranged to transport the victims to Dhulachaur and Kolti hospitals for treatment, with police confirming that four individuals are in moderate condition while the remaining five sustained minor injuries.
