KATHMANDU: The Embassy of India in Kathmandu hosted 50 Class XI and XII students from five schools in Kathmandu—DAV School (DAVSKVB), Modern Indian School, The Chandbagh School, Alok Vidyashram, and RAI School—under the “Connect with the Indian Embassy” initiative.
The students gained firsthand exposure to the Embassy’s various wings, including the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (ICCR in Nepal), offering them valuable insights into the functioning of the Mission.
During the visit, the Deputy Chief of Mission briefed the students on India–Nepal relations, which was followed by an engaging interactive session with the Ambassador of India to Nepal, Shree Naveen Srivastava.
This initiative aims to provide young minds with a direct understanding of how the Indian diplomatic mission in Nepal functions. The Embassy looks forward to expanding this engagement to include more schools in future editions of the program.
