KATHMANDU: The inauguration ceremony of the Nagdhunga Tunnel has officially taken place.
Today, on Monday, Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal inaugurated the tunnel in the presence of Japanese Ambassador Maeda Toru and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) President Dr. Tanaka Akihiko.
With the operation of this long-awaited national pride project, road transportation between the Kathmandu Valley and various parts of the country is expected to become smoother, safer, and faster.
