KATHMANDU: Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel has requested everyone not to spread rumors regarding teachers’ incentive allowances.

Posting on Facebook today (Monday), he urged the public to refrain from spreading unnecessary rumors, clarifying that a policy-level provision for the incentive allowance has already been established through the budget.

“The policy provision to provide the incentive allowance has already been made through the budget itself. However, the approved pay scale has not yet been received from the Ministry of Finance,” he wrote on Facebook. “This situation applies not only to teachers, but to civil servants as well. I request everyone not to spread unnecessary rumors.”
