Shankar Bhandari of Nepali Congress has been elected as the House of Representatives member from Tanahun 2.
Bhandari was elected by defeating UML Standing Committee member Kiran Gurung by a margin of 5,474 votes.
Bhandari got 30,604 votes while Gurung got 25,130 votes.
