KATHMANDU: All domestic flights at Tribhuvan International Airport, which had been suspended due to continuous rain and adverse weather, have resumed today.

Airport General Manager Hansaraj Pandey stated that flights and landings suspended since Saturday afternoon have returned to regular schedules following improvements in weather conditions this morning.

“The weather has improved since morning, and our regular departures and arrivals are now operating,” he said.

With flights resuming, passenger traffic on the domestic side of the airport has increased.

Passengers who were delayed on Saturday are now traveling to their destinations.

This morning, flights from Tribhuvan International Airport to Nepalgunj and Bhadrapur have already departed.

Weather conditions in Pokhara and Surkhet are also suitable for flying, allowing domestic services to resume there as well, Pandey added.

International flights and landings at the airport have been operating regularly since Saturday evening, according to the airport office.
