KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has returned to regular work at the Ministry of Finance since Sunday.

He was injured in a balloon explosion during the formal announcement of Pokhara Visit Year 2025 organized by Pokhara Metropolitan City on Falgun 3.

After two days of intensive treatment at the Burn Hospital in Kirtipur, he was discharged and was doing essential work from his residence. After a week, Poudel returned to the Ministry of Finance in Singha Durbar.
