KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Tuesday).
Today, the exchange rates for several foreign currencies, including the US dollar and the Kuwaiti dinar, have decreased. In contrast, the rates for currencies like the Australian dollar, euro, and pound have risen. These currencies, which had remained stable for the past three days, experienced an increase today.
As per the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is 139 rupees 50 paisa, and the selling rate is 140 rupees 10 paisa. The US dollar, which had remained stable for the last two days, has seen a decline today.
Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 US dollar was 139 rupees 70 paisa, and the selling rate was 140 rupees 30 paisa.
The Nepal Rastra Bank also reports that today the buying rate for 1 Euro is Rs 145.78, with the selling rate at Rs 146.41. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Euro was Rs 144.95, and the selling rate was Rs 145.58.
Similarly, the buying rate for 1 Pound Sterling today is Rs 176.47, with the selling rate at Rs 177.23. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Pound Sterling was Rs 175.72, and the selling rate was Rs 176.48.
Today, the buying rate for 1 Australian Dollar is Rs 86.83, and the selling rate is Rs 87.21. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Australian Dollar was Rs 86.73, with the selling rate at Rs 87.11.
The buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti Dinar today is Rs 451.79, with the selling rate at Rs 453.74. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti Dinar was Rs 452.13, and the selling rate was Rs 454.07.
Lastly, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini Dinar is Rs 370.10, with the selling rate at Rs 371.69. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini Dinar was Rs 370.66, and the selling rate was Rs 372.25.
