KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased in the local market on Monday. Compared to the previous day, the price of gold rose by Rs 500 per tola today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 243,300 per tola today. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 242,800 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 20 today. With this rise, silver is being traded at Rs 3,155 per tola, the federation said.
