Gold and silver prices drop in domestic market

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has declined in the Nepali market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold fell by Rs. 400 per tola on Monday.

On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs. 212,000 per tola, while today it is being traded at Rs. 211,600 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also gone down. Silver, which was priced at Rs. 2,500 per tola on Sunday, is being traded at Rs. 2,475 per tola on Monday — a decrease of Rs. 25 per tola.
