Gold and silver prices drop significantly in domestic market on Thursday

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices decreased in the Nepali market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs 5,200 rupees per tola (11.66 grams) today and is currently trading at Rs 278,300.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 283,500 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also registered a decline today. Silver, which was bought and sold at Rs 4,485 rupees per tola on Wednesday, decreased on Thursday and is currently trading at Rs 4,235 per tola.
