KATHMANDU: The price of gold reached a new record high on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 400 per tola in today’s trading, reaching an all-time high.

As per the Federation, the price of gold today is Rs 248,900 per tola — the highest rate recorded so far. On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 248,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has declined. Silver dropped by NPR 85 per tola and is being traded at NPR
