KATHMANDU: The price of gold has continued to fall today, extending the decline seen on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, gold has decreased by 200 rupees per tola today, bringing the price to 170,300 rupees per tola.
Yesterday, the price of gold had dropped by 1,000 rupees per tola, settling at 170,500 rupees.
Last Tuesday, the price of gold had reached a high of 171,300 rupees per tola, which remains the highest price recorded so far.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has seen a slight increase today. According to the Federation, silver has risen by 5 rupees per tola, with the new price set at 1,945 rupees per tola.
