KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased in the local market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. After declining for two consecutive sessions, gold prices rebounded today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of gold rose by Rs 3,400 per tola today, reaching Rs 196,500 per tola. Last Friday, gold was traded at Rs 193,100 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased today. Silver rose by Rs 15 per tola, reaching Rs 2,250 per tola.
