KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the local market increased by NPR 5,000 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by NPR 5,000 today, reaching NPR 189,800 per tola. On Tuesday, the price of gold was NPR 184,800 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased. On Tuesday, silver was priced at NPR 1,940 per tola, but today it has gone up to NPR 1,990 per tola, according to the Federation.
