Gold price sees slight increase in domestic market

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has increased in the Nepali market on Thursday (Jestha 29), according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.

Chhapawal gold (hallmarked) is now being traded at Rs. 192,900 per tola, which is Rs. 1,600 higher than Wednesday’s rate of Rs. 191,300 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs. 15 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs. 2,150 per tola, down from Rs. 2,165 per tola on Wednesday.
