Gold prices continue to rise in domestic market

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has been steadily increasing in the Nepali market since Tuesday.

Today (Thursday), gold has risen by 500 rupees per tola compared to Wednesday.

The price, which was 170,500 rupees per tola on Wednesday, has now been set at 171,000 rupees, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.

Earlier this week, the price of gold had increased by 700 rupees per tola on Tuesday, followed by a 1,100 rupee increase on Wednesday, reaching 170,500 rupees per tola.

Today, an additional 500 rupees has been added to the price.

The price of silver has also seen a slight increase today compared to Wednesday.

Silver, which was traded at 1,985 rupees per tola on Wednesday, is now being traded at 1,995 rupees per tola, according to the Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.
