KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the local market declined slightly on Sunday, falling by Rs 1,700 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 259,000 per tola today. On Friday the price stood at Rs 260,700  per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 15 per tola today. The price of silver, which was traded at Rs 3,870 per tola on Monday, remained at Rs 3,785 per tola on Tuesday, according to the federation.
